My dog was very nervous when going to the groomers and Penny listened to all my concerns and spent time with my dog getting him comfortable and then done a really great job on his groom. He was much more relaxed and happy in the home environment and Penny made him very comfortable. I would recommend Penny for all dogs including nervous dogs. After my previous groomer moved to Spain, I was naturally a little nervous about finding someone new for my two very lively and mischievous boys. From my very first message, Penny’s communication was first class. Penny took the time to get to know both dogs before I left them with her, which was very reassuring. She asked how I wanted them groomed and whether there were any particular features I wanted to keep, showing how much she genuinely cares. Although I was a little anxious leaving them somewhere unfamiliar, I needn’t have worried. Penny even sent me a photo during their groom, which was a lovely touch and really put my mind at ease. When I collected them, they looked fantastic and smelt amazing. Penny also sent me some wonderful photographs after their groom, which was such a lovely gesture. I’ve already booked their next appointment and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Penny’s Pooch Palace. Penny’s passion and love for animals really shines through. So helpful and very informative. She made me and our pup so welcome, we wasn’t rushed and she went through everything in so much detail. She was honest & open and took time to allow our pup to get familiar. Took my brother's long haired frenchie to Penny today for a groom and not only was Penny do lovely herself but so were her family and dogs. She welcomed us in and made sure Gizmo was comfortable before we left, asked us loads of questions and even had a fur chart so we could choose what level we wanted and also gave us some cute gifts as a 1st time customer and for Gizmo too! This was our first time at Penny’s Pooch Palace & Nala being the princess she is, thoroughly enjoyed her pamper experience!! She’s a bit of a nervous girl (due to it being lockdown when she arrived with us so not being able to socialise with other doggies) but Penny was absolutely amazing with her! Penny was patient, kind, gentle & extremely knowledgable so we instantly felt safe to leave Nala with her. By the time we arrived to collect her, it was clear Nala had well & truly settled in & had made a bestie in Penny! Nala absolutely loved her time at Penny’s Pooch Palace & can’t wait to return!!
