Penny’s Pooch Palace offers professional one-to-one dog grooming for owners in Shepperton and surrounding Surrey locations. Based nearby in a welcoming home salon in Ashford, Penny provides personal care without the noise and activity often found in larger grooming salons.

Appointments are arranged for one dog at a time. There are no crates and no groups of dogs waiting together, helping create a calmer environment where Penny can focus entirely on your pet.

A Grooming Plan for Your Dog

Before the groom begins, Penny considers your dog’s breed, coat condition, age, health, temperament and previous grooming experience. Owners can discuss their preferred style and provide information about any sensitivities, medical conditions or behavioural concerns.

This consultation helps Penny select the most suitable approach and make reasonable adjustments where required. Patient handling, reassurance and positive reinforcement are used throughout the appointment.

The one-to-one environment can be particularly suitable for puppies, nervous dogs, senior pets and dogs that become unsettled around unfamiliar animals.

Dog Grooming Services Near Shepperton

A full groom can include bathing with appropriate shampoos, blow-drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleansing, pad and hygiene trimming, coat cutting and styling.

Bath and dry appointments are available for dogs that need professional cleaning without a complete haircut. Interim tidy-ups help maintain the areas around the face, feet and hygiene areas between full grooms.

Penny also offers de-shedding treatments for suitable double-coated breeds and hand stripping for appropriate wire-coated dogs. Puppy introduction sessions, nail trimming and Emmi-Pet sonic teeth cleaning are also available.

Penny’s Pooch Palace welcomes clients travelling from Shepperton and nearby areas. If you are looking for a caring local dog groomer who provides individual attention in a quieter home salon, contact Penny to discuss your dog’s requirements and arrange an appointment.
