Penny’s Pooch Palace provides professional one-to-one dog grooming for clients in Stanwell and nearby areas. Located in a welcoming home salon in Ashford, Surrey, the service is designed for owners who want their dogs to receive individual attention in a quieter environment.

Penny works with one dog at a time. There are no crates and no groups of dogs waiting in the salon, helping reduce noise and unnecessary distractions during the appointment.

Helping Dogs Feel More Comfortable

Some dogs find grooming naturally relaxing, while others need additional patience and reassurance. Puppies, nervous dogs and pets with limited grooming experience can become overwhelmed by unfamiliar sounds, equipment and handling.

Penny takes time to understand each dog’s personality, grooming history and sensitivities. Positive reinforcement, praise and calm handling are used throughout the appointment to help build confidence and trust.

Puppy introduction sessions are available for younger dogs. These shorter appointments help puppies become familiar with brushing, dryers, grooming equipment and handling before progressing to a complete groom.

Professional Grooming Services

A full groom can include bathing with appropriate shampoos, blow-drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleansing, pad and hygiene trimming, coat cutting and styling.

Bath and dry services are available for dogs that need professional cleaning without a full haircut. Penny also offers interim tidy-ups, de-shedding treatments, hand stripping, nail trimming and Emmi-Pet sonic teeth cleaning.

Before the appointment, owners should provide information about their dog’s health, coat condition and behaviour. This helps Penny adapt the groom wherever reasonably possible while protecting the comfort and safety of both the dog and groomer.

Penny’s Pooch Palace welcomes clients travelling from Stanwell and the surrounding area. If you need a patient dog groomer who provides individual care in a calm home salon, contact Penny to discuss your dog’s requirements and arrange an appointment.
